As a volunteer, Jackie enjoys meeting and interacting with the patients. She always greets them with a smile, checks them in, and answers any questions she can to ease their anxiety about their upcoming procedures. Jackie jokingly refers to herself as a ‘professional volunteer’ in her retirement, as she is often found volunteering at the hospital, her church, or local theaters.
